Motivation. The founders, collaborators, and customers of Meliorum Technologies have deep roots in academia. As such, the company has embraced an implicit obligation to document technology in an attempt to promote its understanding and motivate additional academic inquiry. This obligation manifests in two forms:

 

  • Production of white papers, written by scientists employed by the company or by customers of the company. The white papers outline some of the fundamentals of the technology being used, and often delineate the motivation for use of technology for particular purposes.

  • Maintenance of a list of peer reviewed articles, published in academic or similar journals, written by customers, outlining experimentation performed using Meliorum nanomaterials including gold nanoparticles and silicon nanoparticles, among others

 

Meliorum corporate culture and policy promotes submission of articles about our products to pertinent peer-reviewed technical journals. An archive of such articles may be found by browsing the appropriate scholarly databases for the references in the list below. Though our primary focus is on the commercialization of technology using silicon nanoparticles and gold nanoparticles, we work with a plethora of materials regularly.  This includes some very specific materials, for very specific applications. In many instances below, the papers generated are a result of collaborative/consulting efforts between Meliorum and the customers authoring the paper. We do not simply provide an off-the-shelf sample of product.  Rather, we provide product design and application-driven support based on stated customer requirements.
