Materials Engineer II - Posting

The ideal candidate for this position will
have a background in chemistry or materials
science. The Materials Engineer I employee
is directly involved in raw material procurement
and manufacturing of end product deliverables.
It is imperative that the individual have
the ability to plan for the most cost-effective
utilization of materials. The individual
applies knowledge of materials science to
recommend engineering and manufacturing
changes to attain design objectives. Reviews
processing methodologies and specifications
given by management and customers to determine
the appropriate materials needed to achieve
successful manufacture of deliverables.
The ideal candidate has a working and academic
knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices,
and procedures within the chemistry and
materials science field. This position requires
a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering,
materials science engineering or physics,
and requires 0-2 years of experience in
the field or in a related area. Salary is
negotiable, and is commensurate with experience.
Customer Service Representative I

The Customer Service Representative I employee
processes orders, prepares correspondence,
and fulfills customer needs to ensure total
customer satisfaction. This position does
not require knowledge of commonly-used concepts,
practices, and procedures within the nanotechnology
field. However, the individual will be trained
to speak with customers to understand their
product needs and specification requirements.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience is preferred but not necessary.
Sales Executive II - Posting #0576
The Sales Executive II employee has the
responsibility of (1) maintaining current
sales levels and (2) driving sales growth
through identification and pursuit of new
customer sales opportunities in the nanomaterials
application space. Successful employees
in this position exhibit great communication
skills, some conversational comprehension
of the high-tech nanotechnology industry,
and the ability to tackle a problem from
multiple angles/perspectives. Operational
use of of Meliorum's customer relationship
management (CRM) systems and policies will
be discussed. Approximately 25% travel is
required, to various conferences and university,
industrial and government clients.
